Swift and perhaps Jetpack native menu items generally nest on top of the first menu, not to the side. e.g.
https://docs.expo.dev/versions/unversioned/sdk/ui/swift-ui/contextmenu/#items accepts nesting and renders atop. Same for e.g.
https://zeego.dev/components/context-menu#group

This Figma file is currently for web use and serves as a reference only. We will follow native best practices you mentioned above building it
