I don’t think this should be marked as completed. As the library is currently written, I need to use a RadioGroup in order to use a Radio button. It’s not always necessary to embed a Radio button in a RadioGroup

Why would you use radio as a single toggle instead of a more typical switch or checkbox? You can confuse your users in this case.

It would be nice if you provide some repo example or screen recording or existing examples from other libs (if they exist) to understand you better

The RadioButton in React Native Paper has this functionality. Providing the ability to choose how state is controlled, rather than forcing it into a required parent component gives a better dx.
